I think they're great. I just received an e-mail from them saying that my order has shipped. Of course, this is 5 days after my order already arrived and 8 days after it was actually shipped :shifty:

I guess I'll have to wait a while to get my refund for the order I sent back two weeks ago :roll:

Same here, HTS.com have to work on their customer service system really bad. :twisted:

Allow me to add to the HTS.com hate.

I ordered a couple of Transformers with the 10% discount code. 30 mins later I see the "fall20" code. So I place the second order and contact them 12 hours later on a weekend to cancel the first order. They say they can't cancel it because it was already sent to the shipping department. Of course they tell me that it won't ship until Monday but they can't cancel it anyway. So I had to send back the order for a refund which takes about 1 month to complete based on my last experience like this.

Now I just got my package with the wave 1 Combat Heroes. The package was smashed but I didn't care since I was going to open them. They sent 2 Duke/Trooper packs and no Cobra Commander/Roadblock. Since I used the fall20 code on this one, I can't just send it back and reorder the missing pack unless I want to pay for shipping. I have to deal with them on doing an exchange. I hate HTS.

Exact same thing with me, except mine was on a Friday. I keep hounding them for my refund because I've read, like you said, that they take more than the 21 days stated in their "Hassle Free" Return Policy. I know it can't take that long for them to get my package because I live so close to their return address and have always received my orders quickly

Glad the code didn't work properly for me and I was charged for shipping on the order which I returned

I think one of the reasons it takes so long is because the return address is a USPS Postage Due unit. The box goes back to the post office and they likely don't release it to HTS until they get paid for the return. Great system they have there.

I got off the phone with HTS a little bit ago about returning the extra Combat Hero set I got in exchange for the correct one. The guy I talked to was nice but scatterbrained. He sounded like he was hopped up on 20 cups of coffee. He lost his train of thought at least 2-3 times while I was on the phone with him. He clearly was trying to move faster than he was capable of as he told me he closed out my screen before he was even done talking with me and had to ask for my order number again. Then he put me on hold for no apparent reason. He was just all over the place. I'm telling you, HTS is run by a bunch of idiots.

Update: I found the CC/Roadblock at Target today for about the same price as the HTS.com one. So I am just flat out returning the extra pack for a refund.

I called today to see where my returned orders stood, they told me to call back November 4th. or 5th. becouse the person i talked with said it would take 21 days for a refund, so i then explained that i don't want a refund, i want the correct items sent to me, she then said please call back in November, this is getting stupid.

:roll: Probably November is when their new shipment comes in.
If anyone else gets annoyed by their slow refund just do what I did & dispute your credit card bill. It is a lot quicker & won't cost you interest.

I payed via PAYPAL, so i'll just have to wait another week and a half to get an answer, this stinks, so now i will either have to wait and see if a Wraith pops up at Wal-mart or TRU, one can wish, LOL :-P :-P

I paid for my order with PayPal too. The funny thing is, it didn't said I paid with PayPal on the invoice I received with the order. However, the orders I pay for with my credit card say that I paid with PayPal :-| :-/

I have ordered from HTS a few times and have been one of the fortunate ones when it comes to getting what I ordered/shipping.

It seems that HTS is having a bunch of problems lately. Maybe moreso than needs to be for a big company like Hasbro that pushed the HTS for the purpose of allowing customers to buy directly from the company.

Is this something that needs to be brought to the Better Business Bureau or even a State Attorney General for the delays, incompetence, and just general lack of fair customer service?

I would suggest at least that whenever there is an order placed with HTS that someone starts a log of sorts to keep a paper trail. (copy of the order, copy of the expected shipping eta, record of calls made if there is a problem/emails to customer service, etc)

This way if enough people report having problems, something could be done.


Plus, I'd love to be able to charge a company a fee for once. They can pile on all these fees as a result of doing business, but if they screw up they still get those fees from the customer. I'd like to charge them a WMT fee (Wasting My Time) everytime I as the customer have to get involved just to get them to correct their mistakes or errors.
