1) Find a department store or online vendor that is getting rid of used female mannequins. Buy one. Buy some greenish material, some flip flops, a decent sized coffee table book, and a spiked crown. Make up a torch with a golden flame at the top. Paint the entire parts to mtch the Statue of Liberty.

Re-enact the opening scene of the GIJOE movie when all the JOEs are JUMPing off of the Statue to defeat the Cobra (best song evah!).

It took me a long time to understand what you were getting at.

Yeah, maybe if I had mentioned also getting one of those pedestals from the garden section to put the mannequin on, then add all the fabric. Maybe a drop cloth painted in the shape of the base with some trees. Not sure how you would do the giant airborne Cobra helicarrier though...

Honestly, it would be a lot of work, but for anyone who has seen the GIJOE movie-it would be an awesome dio piece.

Macrossmaster-why go with the Pointer Sisters when you could have gone with Van Halen.

Just go ahead and JUMP!

JUMP!

Might as well JUMP!

Has someone ever tried the figures with the old Xmen statue of liberty playset? I wonder how they'd look, I'm sure the scale's way off, but I think it'd still look neat.

The X-Men playset is so horribly UNDERscaled that it looks rediculous with Joes, let alone the X-Men figs it was supposed to go with.

I wish there was a decent Lady Liberty playset :(

That's what I figured, I'm sure there's some store out there that sells those lawn horses, angles, lions and what not that might have a Lady Liberty. That'd be kinda cool, maybe even just a bust of one.

Also, for those that have a lot of Jump packs, do you have a lot of the pads that the original ones came with? I mean, it'd kinda look silly all the Joes waiting in line to take off/land on one little pad.

I'd love to have a decent Lady Liberty bust.

As for the pad, my guys don't need it. They take off from wherever they happen to be standing.

I went through a period where I just bought a lot of accessory lots on eBay, so I have a lot of JUMP's (even 2 red Action Force ones), but only 2 of the take-off pads.

For the most part, I don't see the JUMP system as something a Joe can use to sour through the skies. The jet pack that came with Gen Hawk is a stretch, but I see that as being a more practical JUMP system and I'm slowly hoarding those things as I come across them. The JUMP backpacks make more sense as a rapid descent system like for troops bailing out of a chopper or a low-to-the-ground mobile system that helps a Joe advance from bunker-to-bunker, 'JUMP' across a river, or whatnot.

At the start of the movie they didn't jump from the pads, and in the first comic Stalker is the one that Loves to fly and he used it to take out the firing positions on the beach and jumped from the landing ship. So I really don't think the Jump pad is really necessary.
For those that don't remember the opening of the movie.
