While I could do without more ninjas, I'm happy that we're not getting another Storm Shadow in white.

However, the part I find most impressive about the images is the figure art on the card. This is a good illustration on its own merits and by far one of the better works for a 25th single-carded figure that wasn't a single-carded figure in the original line (the HISS Driver and Wild Bill art come to mind as examples that weren't very good - the HISS Commander art is WAY better).

If he were more GREEN than... Easter Parade, I would buy the living hell out of the figure. I love Green Ninjas for some reason. (and I mean ninja looking ninjas) I think I saw an 80s ninja movie when I was really young that featured green ninjas--made an impression.

This would have been a must get if it were the recolor of the SS v1 mold. Instead? Pass.

This would've been a must-get if it were in the SS v2 colors. ;-)

christ, that's even worse than the original figure.

the teal is still fugly, the hooded head is still a wretched piece of sculpting, AND this stupid thing is carded so I'll actually have to see it in the stores. really, at least the original was an easily forgettable mail-away... (and I agree the Red Ninja's head would have been a much better choice.)

I actually dig the look of the really pale green the Ninja Viper has on in the card art, that works for me. too bad this stupid figure is paying tribute to the 1993 mess. :-/

this is the first ninja in the Anniversary line that I'm skipping. and it hurts to say that.

One other thing I just noticed - the card has the "from the comic" designation. But, unless the Ninja Vipers were in the Devil's Due series, I don't think that either a cartoon or comic designation would fit this figure (or the international or Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, for that matter).

O noes! Deth of tEH line!!!!!!111111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Proof at how limited the non-25th card design is... forcing itself to attribute a new figure to the comic or cartoon, even when said figure is 100% based off his original toy? I liked the foil, the standard 25th logo... when Hasbro switched over, I stopped my MOC collection. And now I'm considering selling off any 25th carded figures I don't "need".

This figure, like many others, will never even enter my collection. I'd buy three more comic-packs to get those accessories before I ever bought this abomination. Homage to a toy that wasn't even that popular way back when?

This green isn't even a Cobra color... I mean, Jeez! Whats next? A Hiss-Driver with a Crimson Guard head in "Create-A-Cobra" eye-burning pink?

That's what the Big Brawler "Cobra Disguise" figure is suppose to be! I was going to buy it, hehe.

I don't necessarily have a problem with this figure. It's a little too much usage of the same mold over and over. They should have listed it in the upper corner as what it was and not saying it's from the cartoon or comic. They've done it with the international designed figures. But yeah single carding a figure like this is an easy way that people can skip over what they don't want. It's worse when they stick one in a multipack and you have to get the figure no matter what if you want the others.

I'll get one (cuz I preorder by the case) and he'll get put with the other ninjas but honestly, pajama party teal green? Really? Never understood the appeal of that color scheme. He'd look good riding a matching My Little Pony.

They've added all of the other wave 8 pics now (click link in first post). All stuff we've seen before, though. I'll probably end up with a few of the divers, and probably one or two PP CGs for kitsch sake, but that's about it. And of course the Ninja Vipers.

Well, looks like I'll be getting Tripwire, Cobra Diver, and Ripper. I may get the Ninja Viper but we'll see. Of course, the only reason I really want the first two figs is for the MASS device elements.

Anything hasbro puts out. . . someone will buy, :)

This one gets a pass, but the dvd packs and the B.A.T.s still keep me loyal to the brand.

What is with NV's little head?
