Black Panther is, how do you say..., Tits! Bullseye, Punisher, Cap and Ironman are must haves! The question and the comish are all I need from the DC line.

Edit* Iron Fist and Ronin can be added to the list!

there's a new X-Force comic? wow, I really AM out of the loop, more than I realized... my finger is FAR from the pulse, far away as possible I guess.

I'm curious about this new X-Force, I'm guessing this is a recent comic. (Civil Wars in all of its utter stupidity killed it for me, I left the 616 universe behind after torturing myself with that dreck. Maybe it's time to look at X-Force again though?)

Wolverine’s X-Force is a lot like Night Force for GIJoe, a covert ops team sent on deniable missions. For customizing you can take any mutant figure, file off a few details on the costume and paint black and grey.

What I get from reading the wiki about the ‘08 series, Marvel just can’t go killing off their rogues gallery they’ve had for 40 years so the main characters are super-emo with unstable powers.

Not buying any comics right now, I’d subscribe anyway if the team took on evil mutant armies and assassinate their commanders, but not if the book reads like some kind of psycho sesame street. Marvel just can't commit to any storyline. Anybody actually read X-Force?

Not as far as you think. There is a butt pulse.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a problem with the Hulk's proportions or if he's just been posed funny every time I see him.

I think his proportions will be a little askew. That chin certainly is.

these protos look cobbled together in different ways (check surfer's hips)

also, is there a mid forearm joint? some obviously don't have them.

i hope all these are standardized by the time they hit production....

The new X-Force is pretty good so far, it was a tough sell for me, with all of those "feral" characters onboard (and the removal of Wolfsbane from X-Force, who I've always liked under David) but up to this point it's been good. And they've brought back more villains than they've killed, so it's not just some clearing house where they bring characters back just to kill them.

I doubt they'll have a lot of standardization between them. I mean, we don't get that with Hasbro figs now.

I did hear that the Surfer prototype was stolen from some convention. The Cliff Notes version says that they had the prototypes out and we're passing Surfer around. When it came time to get him back someone had pocketed him. They don't know who and it didn't even have his board. My thinking is, why would you steal that? I mean, you could sell it but I'm pretty sure they're watching eBay right now for it. If it's for your own collection then he doesn't even have a board!

You know, I know its wrong to post pictures of toyfair online, but because of that, I order a two year subscription(since I have no comic store, here).

It is the strange expression he has that bothers me.

Meh.

ToyFare usually runs months-old news and press images that we can read on any of the major toy-related sites online for free. What little "original content" the magazine runs isn't worth the cover price, and, if anything, we should thank you for sparing us from their terrible jokes that haven't been funny since the mid-90s, and even then I'm being kind.

Yeah.

The face sculpt is terrible.

...But I find Hulk's cankles far more disturbing.

Remember that a lot of the 25A protos had hips built like the shoulder joint as well, but had traditional 'two thigh halves gripping the metal ball' hips once they got to market. I bet these MU figs will be the same. I'm most interested if the waist swivel we see in some of them will stay thru to market or if it'll be sacrificed to save mold costs.
