Has it been confirmed that the Rattler and Conquest will actually show up in stores? Target's current Clone Wars battle packs exclusives are online-only.

I'm not crazy about paying for shipping on these, but if there is no other option I'll consider it. I don't really need any more large aircraft.

I don't think they're even on the website anymore. I know they've been on shelves in CA, but my guess is that they'll give them an endcap within the next few weeks since they're so big.

I just came back from target, and they have shelf space with tags for the jets, no product, but there's space for when they do.

I got my Rattler today! When I opened the shipping box and saw the packaging and the plane, it took me back to the birthday when I got the original. It's a beauty.

Yeah, I just came back from the Target here in town - there's a space on the bottom shelf for "GI Joe 3.75" vehicle-large: $24.95" -- hopefully they'll have actual product by next week.

Is the Wild Weasel that comes with the new Rattler any different than the comic pack version? I already have as many vintage rattlers as I need, but I don't want to miss out on WW if he's new.

I don't recall any out of package pics of Wild Weasel, but he looks the same to me. I was kinda hesitant about buying another Rattler, but mine all have broken/stressed landing gear and gooey stickers, so a factory fresh one will be nice. As for the Conquest, well, I still don't have a complete one, so the 25th one will be good to have. Besides which, 25 bucks is a good deal for 'em.

Oddly enough, despite placing the order for Rattler and Conquest together, my Conquest came today.

Slipstream looks fat (not that I have room to talk).

And I can't say how happy I am to have factory fresh toys that are this true to the vintage.

My only versions of these planes are the previous wave of exclusives. I'm looking foward to a Rattler in blue with the gunner canopy intact and especially a Conquest without sound attack. $25 is not a bad price, but I have seen complete vintage units clear eBay for less even with shipping combined. Any rumors of the next vehicle wave of exclusives or are they waiting to see how these do?

From what I saw of earlier pics, the figure does look sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightly different, and a little better.

Got mine yesterday. Mold is nice, doesn't really look too old.

The only thing I noticed different about Wild Weasel was that right above the flight map on the right leg it looks like the leg was reshaped to allow him to sit better. The 2-pack does not have diaper crotch, but the design of his belt prevents the leg from being positioned at 90 degrees. The right side of the belt hangs lower than the left side and it looks like the leg has been "thinned" so that it can move up further before it touches the belt. It doesn't really help much.

I'll try and get pictures tonight, once I finish putting all the decals on. *memories*

Found them both at Target today. Looks like its two rattlers and a conquest a case. Picked up the rattler and I really like the packaging. There are two different battles going on in the background for both. I think they'll be a big hit.

Now I just need to find the stupid BAT.

Snagged em both yesterday, even though Kilcarr and I had been hunting the previous day. Used the online inventory system which told me they were there, called, got em held, and boom, awesome toys for me. Flawless execution of the molds, a real throwback. Only complaint? Decals are not clear enough, and too opaque. I heard this complaint and thought people were nuts for complaining, but really if you look the decals don't blend together so it looks like writing on the plane itself, but more a cloudy square around it. I may try to find some repro stickers - the Conquest works well, but the Rattler needs cooler stickers than it got.

But overall a 9.5 out of 10.
