All those helmets are where they're supposed to be. The Viper headed guy is a flamethrower trooper and judging by the logo on the flash bodied one, he's supposed to be some kind of hostile environment guy, so the Air Trooper helmet makes sense. The rest are where they should be, and where they've always been shown, with the exception of the hostile environment guy having the CG helmet pictured with him.

Really only two tiny little problems with the two sets.

Instead of throwing the cold weather vipers in like they are they should have stuck with the pure gold that is the cold weather Tele-Viper. With the coat on he really reminds me of how they used to just put coats on the characters in the cartoons before we got the artic troopers. Would have been cool to have some blue shirts or Vipers with that artic Snake Eyes mold in Cobra colors.

With the hot and dry set I really love all the new troopers they came up with on the set as it's some unexpected reuse of parts. But for the life of me I can't figure out why they would put a tan Crimson Guard figure in instead of a tan Viper or something like that.

Either way it's still two sets of win.

i chated with a few of the Hasbro guys at con and the said it was done like this so you could switch around helmets, gear and guns to one's own preferance.
for me, Mine detecter trooper will get the vipers head become a full desert viper
and the air troop helmit will go on "BBQ"s and a"Flash" will get a reg. troopers head
so switch them around and have fun.

ps CG helmet is Fred's

I totally agree. Hasbro should sell these coats loose, so (almost) every figure can put it on.
