oooo supernova thanks for the hi-res pics! Didn't realize TNI had better quality pics out already.

Quick Kick made me laugh out loud - I hope I get that one in my DVD boxset!

Snake Eyes is pure win

Still love Major Bludd - thinking I should keep my carded one to use his dog tags

I've more or less skipped the others because I'm not interested in building the MASS Device or weather dominator (besides they will surely be on eBay complete when everything is released).

The weather dominator IS complete in the one box. You don't have to build it. That's just the MASS Device.

just a comment on the poses for these official Hasbro pictures. Wouldn't the product sell itself more if they were posed dynamically instead of the at-attention-gun-in-hand-extended, these are afterall super poseable action figures right?

I guess the photographer and assistant(s) don't really give two hoots about this job as long as they get paid. Would it have killed them to have Quick Kick in a kicking pose?

Oh, come on. Hasbro's photographers don't even know the difference between a gun's handle and its ammo clip, as I've repeatedly pointed out, and you expect them to actually POSE the figures?

Snake Eyes looks less purpley there. Hopefully that holds up.

Has anyone mentioned that the Commander now has two functional hands?

Looks like a great set.

I gotta admit something here.

I've never seen Pyramid of Darkness.

Was it any good?

and y'know i really dont mind the purplish Snake Eyes either - he has correct ankle thingies and correct v2 sword. And he's cartoon accurate in colour and I'm a big fan of the cartoons so he's all win again.

Probably will be my definitive Snake Eyes - so I can buck the trend of those all-black SEs.
Actually that isn't technically the version 2 sword. It is based on the collector 1:1 sword they made a couple of years ago which in turn was obviously based on the version 2 sword. Still, that is a sweet sword that I'm glad is making it offically into the line.

Major Bludd looks gravy. That metallic looks really works. Likewise, Quick Kick is a winner.

ANOTHER *%#&%#@ COBRA COMMANDER???!! They've already given us a cartoon-accurate CC. They couldn't think of another character to make?

Ditto for Snake-Eyes. Tired of that character. Very tired.

soon to be followed by variations fixing the paint apps to the belt and helmet, including chroming.

I think my definitive battle helmet CC will have to be the chrome version from the opening sequence of the Movie - soon to be released.

From the proto pics it looks perfect in every way.
