Difficult choice for me. My three favorite Cobra figures were released in '85; Snow Serpents, Eels, and CG.

Had to pull the trigger for SS, though. In my house, CG always played the role of Cobra Commander's body guard and only saw action on the rare occasions that the Joes actually got past the waves of troopers and HISS tanks into CC's inner sanctum. Eels spent many hours performing underwater demos in our pool, but never really fought much. SS, however, were either riding on a Cobra Wolf to assault GI Joe's Antarctic mountain base (the top bunk) or parachuting in behind Joe lines to disrupt their supplies. They had a reputation for being nasty and tenacious.

Snow Serpent

Just well its awesome. It melded the weird sci fi look of Cobra troopers with real world stuff (like fur) and then the cool accessories that really touched off - these guys walk around in the cold to blow stuff up.

I loves me Dreadnoks, but I really like the CG. The Snow Serpent comes a close second, though.
