My WM had pretty much everything, except vehicles, no falcon, no AT-TE, not that I could afford to buy either. All the figures though. I was pretty dissapointed with the lancer obi-wan, the head sculpt looks like a weird mix between the animated obi-wan and Ewan Macgregor. Just pick one and go with it. BUT...I did pick up a Seasse Tiin, so totally awesome. He is definitely my favorite, and getting him all armored up and ready to kick @$$ is just awesome.

The closest Wallyworld had apparently forgotten to put these guys out overnight. They were scrambling to clear peg-space this morning at 10 or so and by 12 were only getting around to putting figures out.

TRU had a nice display, with a couple of boxed BMF's.

Target had a smaller section - not the huge ginormous display I expected.

From what I've seen, it doesn't look like many people are buying the BMF's and AT-TE's. Every place that's had them in stock, they've been fully present - no empty spaces or anything. As cool as these vehicles are, I'm still not sure they're going to sell that well. :-|

Anybody pick up the V-19 Torrent? Is it worth the cost of admission?

Wait. The TRU B-Wing is out already? I didn't see these anywhere. :-(

Well, consider that the AT-TE is a hundred bucks and the Millennium Falcon is $150. That's a lot for most people to drop this far from Christmas.

Sounds like, with a couple of exceptions, that Scuba Clone really is scarce. BTW, did anyone open theirs? Was the mid-torso articulation a little -- glitchy? Mine kept leaning to one side or the other. I finally straightened him out, but I'm wondering now if there's no much pressure on the attachment joint that it might break.

A "Build a B.A.T." series. Hmmm -- interesting idea, and it's about the only character in the G.I.Joe universe that it'd really work with without being a little gruesome in some respects.

However, I don't think the current format really lends itself well to being disassembled to that degree, and for that matter, the traditional-style and newsculpt-style don't, either. Not unless you want to be putting loose O-rings, T-hooks, and tiny screws in the packages, along with assembly instructions for those who have never taken apart a G.I.Joe.

On the other hand, consider the B.A.T. v.5 that was part of that B.A.T. multi-pack. Technically a newsculpt figure, but a very different construction design from anything else, really, and it was designed to be dismantled for the purpose of swapping parts.

Technically, Hasbro could do something like that, but the big question is if they'd be willing to. If we were still in the newsculpt era, I'd say "Yes". But their present commitment to the 25th-style figure design and the retro-classic card design doesn't really lend itself all that well to doing something like this. Just my opinion.

My Scuba Clone is fine, tight joints all around. But I read over at Reblscum, that the Scuba Clone already has a variant-white belt and a tan belt(which I have).

Thanks for the heads-up on the lateral moob motion, Treks. Didn't know ScubaSteveClone did that.

How do I know if my two Scubas have white or tan belts? They're both kinda off-white.

We called ahead to the Elkin Supercenter to make sure they had a shipment and that it was going out. When we got there, we found this one guy charged with putting out everything. So he slit open cases and we actually stocked the figures ourselves, keeping back the ones we wanted to purchase. We were the only ones there!

I picked up Han and Luke, the Evo Trooper, Yoda w/Kybuck, and good ol' Yarna. Big girls need love too! But my biggest score was actually finding my first RAM/Flight Pod!

The Scuba Clone is NOT rare! He is packed 2 per case. I saw over a hundred of them today between the 5 Walmarts/TRUs/Targets I hit.

I snagged all of the basic Legacy figures (I wasnt;t initially, but just had to have them when I saw the beautiful little build-a-droids :( ), the Rebel Pilots Legacy Set, and the Clone Wars R2 (to be another type of Astromech droid).

I saw the AT-TE (pass) and that sweet, sweet Falcon (oh how you will be mine on Thursday when I get paid!), as well as the 2 new Starfighters (pass on both).

Is the Sith Evolution set out yet? I was looking through all the three-packs and noticed the Sith pack on the back (the one with shirtless Maul).

I also notice something kind of funny last night that I forgot to mention. One couple was just loading their buggy with everything, but the only figures they were grabbing were the 1st Day figures with the sticker. I wasn't sure if those were desirable, so I made sure not to grab them when buying my figures, just in case other collectors were hunting them.

Um, it's been out for weeks now. But yes, they did re-release it in the new packaging. Didn't see the Rebel Pilots Evo set tho.

Never saw it or the re-release. I saw the re-release Mandalore pack though.

Yeah it's exactly the same one just in the new package. These Evolution sets are packed 4 per case. 2 Fett packs and 1 each of the Padme and Sith sets.

I went to the Commerce City Super Wal Mart today to check out their Joes and looked at the SW figs, they had 4 of the scuba clones, 2 black IG-88ish guys, and the rest everyone is saying is rare. I think it sounds more like people are army building them in the areas in which they aren't found. IMO

I think so people think these first day stickers make the figure more valuable. Just for fun I peeled one off a figure I opened and stuck it on another bubble. It peels right off and reapplies with no discernable tampering. The funniest sight was my 12:45 am stop at a 24 hour Super WM after hitting TRU. Nothing stocked, boxes of random toys wrapped on pallets. I stopped back this morning on the off-chance they had their exclusives, still nthing on the shleves, the random wrapped pallets gone and new ones - displays sitting on the floor wrapped up. I had to get some other domestic goods later in the day so I figured I'd stop back and see what was in the displays - now they were gone, too! How does Wal-mart stay in business anyway?

Did anyone see the Clone Gear figures? They were all repacks but they came with a white rectangular box filled with Clone Trooper and Battle Droid guns. At least 5 or 6 per figure from pistol to cannon size.

So there are now 3 figure lines: Clone Gear repacks of the main characters, TCW and TLC.
