Yes, I agree--that is the issue. It's hard to get the product, not that the product doesn't exist.

I've seen pics of the Titan sized Rey, but I don't think I've seen it in person. I don't care about that crap, so I never look at it. I can't even tell you if my Walmart has any Star Wars figures that size.

Titan sized Rey is coming either this month or next, along with 3 or 4 other Titan figures. I saw a near-production sample at the Hasbro event the night before NYCC.

Did anyone else hear anymore information about the guy who was 3D printing new landing gears for the Poe Dameron X-Wings to make them taller when parked? I never found the guy's page.

Not sure if there is a general Star Wars thread, but did you guys see the announcement that EE is going to have an exclusive 6 pack of SA 3.75" figures? Retail is 79.99 w/free shipping. Adam Pawlus says 5 of the 6 are never before released figures. One is a repaint. None are from Phantom Menace. One will be a Clone Wars figure presented in realistic form. Nothing from TFA or Rogue One. I think that's all of the hints he's dropped.

These are most likely the last "parking lot" figures Hasbro were sitting on before the 3.75" Black Series ended. if I recall correctly, there was nothing really all that great in the parking lot.

Also, this probably means that the Walmart exclusive line will focus on the new movies from here on out.

The problem with the parking lot is that Darryl used the phrase as a blow-off so often that nobody knows for sure if it's legit or not. Adam Pawlus is pretty in tune with collectors' wants (even if he's far too fond of 6" and 5POA figs for my tastes), so I don't think he'd waste EE's time, money, and effort unless he was sure it was stuff that was actually wanted.

The term "Parking Lot" was used by Hasbro to refer to figures that were in some stage of development but for one reason or another never found a slot in any released assortments (Joe Ninnivaggi and I discussed this at several Hasbro parties and Toy Fairs over the last 3 or 4 years). There were a lot of figures that moved from the parking lot to actual release over the years but there were still a few that did not come out before the 3.75" Black Series ended as a mass retail release. A few (non TFA figures) were released in the first few waves of the Walmart Exclusive 3.75" Black Series, but a few still remained. The only parking lot figure I can recall at the moment was the realistic interpretation of Commander Rex from the "Clone Wars" cartoon (they released realistic versions of Obi Wan, Anakin, Ashoka etc. in the tail end of the "Vintage Collection"). I don't recall any of the other parking lot figures being anything to write home about.

Pawlus also knows that SW collectors will go crazy over anything that they were told was coming but was never released, regardless of it being cool or lame.

OK. Thanks for the info.

Well, just SA, realistic, and unreleased, is music to a lot of our ears.

Edit: Some close-readers of the Pawlus quotes, have found that one of the descriptive sentences he uses spells out D.R.O.I.D.S. That puts the brakes on my enthusiasm a bit. I love droids (particularly if they're OT droids) but I don't consider Astromechs to be SA really (and if they duplicate any of the Disney B.A.Ds, that's going to be lame). If they do include protocol droids, that's a little more interesting, but the fact we aren't getting any humanoids is disappointing to be sure.

Seriously, droids?

Just saw this picture on Rebelscum of a droid 6-pack. To quote Syndrome "LAME! LAME! LAME!"

So far, all the SW upcoming releases I've seen are downright depressing. This goes right in line with all of them.

Glad to see more Hero Mashers are coming out. Those things seem to fly off the shelves.

The problem is that the most interesting releases in the past have been EU figures, and now EU has been abolished. We already have like fifty versions of every OT/Prequel character, and one new movie and a TV show don't provide a ton of new material. I would love it if they would plumb the new EU comics for characters (especially the surprisingly good Darth Vader solo series) but they don't seem too interested in that, either.

I'd like it if they'd finally finish making all of Jabba's skiff guards.
Still four or five left that they haven't made.

It's not like there were a ton of people on those two skiffs.

Yeah, like I said, when the pieces started to come together that it was all astromechs, I was very disappointed. I really think it's slimy the way they said things like "SA, realistic, The Vintage Collection style articulation!" to get our hopes up, only to drop 6 repainted Astromechs, with the Jabba Barge drink tray that came with the TVC R2D2. (and really it's the same mold as that R2 D2).

2 OT droids, but the rest are Clone Wars Cartoon.

Bleeeeeeah.
