Wow, that figure is pretty huge compared to others in the scale.

I had the same thought. Between Keaton being a shorter dude, and Mattel's 1:18 figures generally being smaller than many others, I thought it was a bit funny that this was the figure of theirs that was a bit taller.
I'm pretty much ok with them making Batman a slightly more "heroic" size though.

I also went back and added new feet to give him ankle articulation The blacks don't look any different in person, but for some reason in the pictures, his black shins look lighter than the black of his new feet and his original thighs.

Also picked up a 1990 Dark Knight Collection Batmobile to go with him. They go together pretty much perfectly.
Did I mention that I'm REALLY digging this figure. :-D

I saw one of the 89 movie Batman figures at TRU and picked it up... I don't really collect super heroes, but I knew a lot of people are liking this figure and are having a hard time finding it. Anyone want this one?

Yeah, I'm digging the figure as well. Still need the unmasked head, and to figure out how I'm using him.

But that batmobile is a must have. Is it just a one seater though?

It was made as a one seater, for the old 5" line. I'm looking at the possibility of making it a two seater for 4" though.

Saw these at TRU today. I wish the head had a less cartoonish paint job.

Also, how much was it, and do you have a picture of it? I've noticed, while looking at them on ebay, that quality control is an issue with this figure. Particularly with the paint and some issues with the glue that was used to hold the cowl to the chest.

There are reports the Penguin is showing up too. So far I heard someone in Arizona found him in their TRU.

Starting to show up on eBay now too. One seller in Indiana and one in California.

Yeah he looks good. Consider me very much interested, if Bindy isn't interested in another masked version, since he inquired first.

nope, I'm out. Unmasked is all I'm angling for.

Really wish they'd have given him a bicep swivel, which they did for Zod (which is a surprisingly good figure btw).

Just picked up Penguin and another unmasked Bat's from TRU which restocked 2 cases. Revision case with Penguin, replaces unmasked Batman, Freeze, and Azrael, with Penguin x3.

I really don't understand why they didn't give him the bicep swivel. It looks like Penguin and Catwoman both have them, along with Zod.

Is Penguin' s hat removable?
