Saw pictures of it the other day, but never found out who was selling it.

Curious about price and availability.

More info? Anyone? Pics? Ordering info? I'd wear the heck out of that.

A) That's awesome and super creative.

B) So...would wearing that piss off actual veterans? I'm honestly asking. I saw a guy who was wearing an actual one of those (from a real ship) but had never served get yelled at by someone who had. Is that a typical sentiment among those who have served, or was that guy just a rage case? I just ask because it's awesome and I'd love to throw money at getting one, but I'm not too big on pissing off/getting my ass kicked by veterans. I'd still buy it, just leave it on a shelf.

My plan was just to wear it to shows and cons mostly. I'm not ceartain if it would piss off vets or not. I can see how if it was a cap for a real ship that you didn't serve on it could make some one mad, but I think if someone is getting bent out of shape over a fictional thing like the Flagg they probably need to lighten up.

Just my $.02

would think it'd depend on the ship, some like USS Indianapolis might upset people who recognize it. then again, do the floating museums sell hats of the ships (like USS Yorktown, etc.)?

I have a cap from the Midway. It is red with the USS MIDWAY on it with the number, no depiction of the ship. I think it may come down to which ship, if it is one of the Museum ships I think it may upset a few, but most will not mind. With the FLAGG being a fictional ship you would probably have the same kind of exposure where only a few people would get upset. Perhaps some of our active and retired guys would share their feelings about that. I would respect their wishes and maybe just display the FLAGG hat.

One thing to always keep in mind, you will always have some people get upset at anything. You can't really worry too much about them. Over all this is a nice item that fans will love and have been enjoying.

My thought is, since they never served on the USS Flagg, unless they tripped on it on their way into their kid's bedroom, they can't get bent out of shape. I'm in the Air Force and I don't get all pissed off at Stargate fanboys. Until my unit actually travels through time, you just keep dressing up you crazy kids.

Your unit doesn't travel through time? I guess I was just in the cool squadron. ;)
