LASERS!!!

Too bad these won't be available for a couple weeks or I'd totally be sporting one for the convention.

This shirt is different though. I like it better than the violence one.

Hehe, and they give a nice large image so I could make my own... If I wanted to. I may come up with my own version too though. I might make it generic enough (like these are) that someone could stock it if they wanted...

If someone were to have a few of these at a certain action figure gathering, say in an XL, they might be my new bestest friend.

Huh. That's pretty good, but I always thought the other half of the battle was T&A?

Because when you don't have a real gun, or a toy gun, anything with a trigger will due. (You know...like the pressure washer from a car wash.) :rotfl:

Heh. Create your own if you want, but we'd really appreciate it if you didn't stock knockoffs. We're just two guys trying to make a few bucks to run our pointless websites (i.e. andimapc.com, appft.com) which have hosting bills that need payin'.

The shirts are screened by hand by some really talented people that are running their company (Wire & Twine) as a labor of love.

Plus, me and the other half of the nerduo painted that explosion background and built that webpage just to get respect and love from fans! Not diggin' this vibe! :-P

Nah I understand the idea of making a product and trying to drum up support. Everybody that knows me on this site knows I'm a screen printer myself. When I do my own stuff it's usually shirts that are not already out there. This is a good group on this board and I'm sure you'll get some support on this.

I think your shirt is clever, and will probably get one, but I'd feel better about your vehemence concerning what is and isn't a knockoff if your idea hadn't come straight from GraphJam.

Heh.

Touché. good comeback.

I'll have to admit though, I've never been to GraphJam before today. I just checked it out and found a graph with "knowing" and "other".

Either way, this shirt isn't rocket science and I'm not claiming to be a rocket scientist. It's all meant to be in good fun, and I fear that my defensive first post might have set a negative tone that I didn't mean to start.

In short:

GI Joe is awesome. The 80s rocked. I miss the good old days. Buy a tshirt, or not. Talk about Joes. That's what people are here for!

No worries, it's all for a good cause, right? We're all on these sites because we enjoy nostalgia and/or pop culture. Like I said, I think the shirt is cool, actually better than the other one.

I totally want that shirt!!

Question before I order one... or two: how do the shirts fit? do they tend to be roomy inside or are they of the more restrictive style cut?

there was a time I wouldn't have worried about it but the last two websites I ordered a single t-shirt from apparently just stocked the "athletic cut" types or something. One of the sites even had diagrams up of how the shirts would supposedly fit but upon trying both shirts on, it was almost like the shirts were actually more like a size under what the label said.

I don't want any surprises like that from my awesome laser shirt! :-P
