At the '08 Joecon I won a custom contest by Hasbro. The idea was to guess the parts recipes to Rich Woodhouse's customs. The prize would be a figure of the winner's choice made by Rich. I wanted something challenging & completely badass. I chose Bio Viper. Well, the other day, it arrived. I am stoked beyond expression at the detail & creativity of this piece. Awesome, so very awesome.

I remembered some people here wanted to see pics of it when it was done, so I took a few. Enjoy!

Jeez man, that's awesome!
I recently finished my Monstro-Viper and had plans for Bio-Viper as well, but I guess it cannot get any better than this one!

That is impressive work. Are the tentacles from the Indepedence Day aliens? That's what they remind me of.

Yeah this thing is really nice. He does do amazing work. As ajaman was pointing out, I wonder what parts were used? The head looks to be the Star Wars cat like creature.

THANK YOU!!!
I knew that head looked familiar, particularly the mouth, I just couldn't place it.

The main part of the figure is an Abomination figure from the Hulk movie line, and I think the fins are from the McFarlane Dragons series. I would also agree that the tentacles look like they are from the Independence Day aliens, and the "claws" on the top set of tentacles look like the hands/fingers from an "Alien" figure. They have that "dual-finger" sculpt on them. May even be the hands from the smaller secondary arms, from an Alien Queen figure.

I'm guessing the base Hulk figure used is Abomination?

Very cool figure. Congrats on winning this and great figure choice by the way. Richard proved two things to me while watching him work, 1) he is an insanely good customizer, 2) I wish I had his resources.
