This is one of the most least produced, rare item, and kinda unpopular character/action figure.

But how would you portray Space Shot? :spaceshot:

He saw action in the comic books in a minor supporting role, and was not in the toons.

For me, I'd rather portray this character in the present than in the futuristic setting listed on his filecard.

He'd be a former Para-rescue trooper who served a short stint in the USAF and became a TV actor in a Science Fiction TV show. Only when his show got cancelled, he became a GIJoe, still attaining his skill when in the USAF while keeping his macho ego persona from his TV show.

What's your take on him?

who?

Then I hit the interwebs, wow, no wonder this line got cancelled.

But just looking at the figure, I'd guess he was the CO on the joe space station, which would be ok.

meh,...

I just fold him in with the rest of the Star Brigade.

all my Star Brigade soldiers are Pilots for all my Shuttles, with the Armor tech guys as enforcers for the Defiant Crawler.

Mega Marines pilot. If the Mega Marines were based on the Aliens Colonial Marines then they would need a drop ship pilot. He's the perfect candidate. Currently I have him piloting the helicopter of the Rhino.

wow, 24 years of being a joe fan and I had no recollection of who Space-Shot is!!! If there was ever candidates for Mike T's forgotten figures, Star Brigade would be it. Definitely learnt something new today!

Like other similarly styled Joes, *i.e., mustache and slicked back hair*, he gets to walk around occasionally muttering "they were just cones!" a la the limo driver from the wedding singer.

He actually died in my verse...not in space either.

He was in a Bridgelayer with Toll Booth when cobra blew it up...

but that was when I collected ....

The figure is cool, I''d just sit him in a Defient and make him look pretty if I had joes still.

He's just another astronaut in my verse. And in my verse the astronauts only provide an intelligence role managing the installation and control of spy satelite/missile defense systems and covertly eliminating any of the same that Cobra Commander might have installed through Cobra's underground connections within the Russian and/or Chinese space agencies.

I don't go too sci-fi with it.
