I bought a Target Rattler online. It arrived today (Conquest will probably arrive tomorrow). The thing looks just like it did in the display case at the convention. There aren't many pre-applied stickers; but I don't know if there are more in the box or not (haven't opened it up yet).

Thought it'd be news worth passing along.

Did you notice that Target seems to get better exclusives than TRU?

From what I've heard on other boards you're not alone. I think what happened is Target.com ran out of stock to cover all their preorders and will have more in a couple months.

Got an email on August 30 saying mine was backordered, but I got another e-mail on Sep 5 saying it was shipped. Maybe just a short delay, J-Man.

Has anyone seen these in stores, yet? My stupid brother didn't order it from Target when he had the chance, so now I gotta help him find one.

Um...no... Good thing it's a Target Exclusive because nobody else was willing to risk the shelf-space on such huge packages.

We'll see If I end up with either of these...odds are I'll wait to see if I can catch them on Clearance.

Not just for GIJoe either. TRU recently started getting a Star Wars exclusive item in stock, the Lars Homestead playset. 3 old repainted figures, a new Womprat that looks like another animal they did and the Lars home. Which is just the square building with the dome. The base is made out of thin flmsy plastic.

The best part... $49.99.

What a total turd this thing is. Or for that same price I can get 2 GIJoe jets with figures and a kid and have endless fun. I will never understand Habro on these things. We want playsets and we tell them what kind of playsets we would like to see. I hear small modular playsets mentioned a lot. Instead they put put a $50 playset from a part in a movie that had no action. The playset itself has to action. Then they will continue to tell us playsets don't sell. Wonder why?

If they actually showed the killing and burning of the bodies, then this set would be a winner. The problem is the movie just showed smoking skeltons. No action.

they're getting to those figures after the ones from the walking in the desert stills are done, and also the stormtrooper floating in space images that were made for dark empire demos (ok making that one up...i hope.)

I stopped at Target specifically to look for these yesterday and there were no Joe vehicles at all. There was shelf space for the current run on non-exclusive vehicles however. I see shelf space for them at several stores, but have only seen them stocked on one occasion at TRU. I hope this means they are selling well all over. I plan on keeping an eye on Target for the Rattler. Of course this is the same Target that never saw a single unit of the last wave of exclusive HISS or AWE Striker either. I never saw those items at any of the three or four Targets I checked in the state for that matter.

Yeah, it was an ordeal for me to find the first three Target-Exclusives, too.

I hate store exclusives.
