Another great year: 1986.
Figures from Special Mission Brazil are not in.
Let everyone know what figure you like best (and please explain why)!

Some nice figures from 1986. Wet Suit and Mainframe for their cool accessories. Slipstream and Hawk for their sculpt. Beachhead should have been better.

I went with Iceberg. I simply loved the colors on his outfit back in the day. Comes with a single rifle as accessory. Should have had a backpack as well. Still one of my favourite figures. Not that great of a filecard, sadly.

I went with Hawk. I nice update over the generic looking v1 Hawk. I'm also more into the cartoon than the comics, so I like the brown hair to differentiate him from Duke

best joe year ever with three joes claiming SC as home state: fridge, wetsuit, and slaughter.

went with the fridge. single best action figure accessory of all time, even ahead of the starscream megatron pistol. yes, even ahead of somebody making megatron an accessory. that's how good a football on a stick is.

I went with Sci-Fi, and it wasn't because I figured other favorites would get the nod and not need my votes. I really like Sci-Fi. Cool name, cool uniform design. Okay, it really wasn't especially military, but I still liked it.

I will say that I was glad we got an updated and much-needed Hawk in 1986, and Wet-Suit also impressed me that year. I never really liked the 1986 Roadblock. He had the greater bulk that was needed over the 1984 version, but the figure just didn't seem as carefully detailed as some others. I'll take the 1991 Roadblock anytime.

Ditto. Altho he runs a crummy cable channel and should go back to the military, SciFi was the first Joe fig I bought myself and started the 22-year bug.

/Has low hopes for a 25A SciFi because he can't be re-used for anyone else.

The version 2 Hawk has always been my favourite sculpt of this character. He gets my vote.

I went with Wet Suit.

I can never get enough divers, and he had a nice accesory selection.
My only complaint has always been that they did not arm him.

hell yes sci-fi has a cool name, and he was a cool character on the cartoon.

just how awesome is he?

do you ever turn to the snake eyes channel to watch a movie? no. or catch up on your favorite reruns on the destro station? NO.

only sci-fi has a channel named after him.

I went with Leatherneck. Great sculpt, colors. Simple backpack and sweet, sweet M-203 goodness.

Hawk would have beat him out easily....if only he had blonde hair....

Cant argue with that but I chose Wetsuit. I dont care much for Football and Slaughter was cool but I had many cool underwater adventures with Wetsuit, Deepsix and Torpedo.

(Honestly I never knew Fridge was from SC)

1. Beach Head. I like the figures with the "silent, but dangerous and special forces" look. He has it all.
2. Leatherneck. Nice camo and gun, great FC.
3. Lowlight. He's a sniper, he looks cool but still unobtrusive and he had this great gun + bipod.

Was always looking for Michael to be put on the Joe team they could have been the first brothers on the team.

On a side note that phrares on the file cards the name (james jones does not identfy any know living person) always got me to thinking what would it say on the Fridges card.

I got to go with Roadblock I think I ended up with 3 of that version and he ended up wearing every ones clothes too. RoadStream, Road-Fi, Roadhawk, Roadticket and so on.
