Just noticed that Mini-mag stands will be coming out in a Joe friendly size (as well as other sizes and stronger magnets) in May:

I keep meaning to get some of these--I can particularly use the ones with the smaller Star Wars type peg. At $3.99 for 10 that's not a bad deal either (and I do so love using magnets for things, I really do. :-) )
