Most of them, yes I know, because many members make customs of figures they dreamed of as a kid.
But if you could pick one, which of your own customs would you've bought as a kid and why?
Because of the look, the weapons, some special feature, because it was never released back then etc.....
Do try to look past the hours work you've put into some of them!

Of all the customs I've submitted to the site, these four are my absolute favorites and I feel they turned out better than I planned. If they were packaged and hanging on the pegs at Roses when I was a kid I would have to think long and hard over which one I would get.

Darklon
Roadblock
Scarlett
Buzzer

On the other hand I've made many that I would never have looked twice at were they mass released product.

For a figure, my most recent Dusty, for obvious reasons.

As far as a vehicle, probably the Skystriker Apocalypse. It was my favorite as a kid so I'm sure the alternate version would have made me beg my parents for it.

Well, yes, most of them, but if I had to pick one --

PYTHONA!

I know the Club is finally doing her, but it'll be a modern-style figure. It's just criminal that she was never produced in the original line. And I do think I did a good job with her.

My current Conan the Cimmerian custom. As a kid I devoured all manner of adventure and classics at the library, and sword and sorcery stories enthralled me. Even if there are no other figures to go with him, I still would use any animal or Marx fare for adventures.

A lot of the vehicles, which isn't surprising since it takes me wanting to fill a hole to be motivated enough to make a vehicle.

For figures, I think even as a kid I would have been intrigued enough by this one and how over the top goofy it is. Plus I'm a sucker for light up and glow in the dark customs and this one has both, plus robot wolf.

I'm most proud of my Night Havoc because of the transition to the front end which made it no so vulnerable to the riders. Of course I never liked Night Force as a kid and didn't appreciate it until I was an adult. Hard to say if I would have bought it or not back then.

That's a really good but tough question for me to answer. Id have to go with my Objective Hell subset as it combines GI Joe and Sci-fi which I've always been a big fan of!

For vehicles it's gotta be the Sky Boomer! I actually need to make another one since I no longer have mine in the collection.

Cobra Blue Beret Commando
I always has thing for soldiers that wore berets. Figures like Stalker, Flint, Dial-Tone, and Falcon were some of my favorites as a kid and still are to this day. You could say that the beret's association with elite military units made them that much cooler to me.

It is a combination of 2 customs. The Swampmasher R.C.V. ( recovery & crane vehicle) & the swamp snake patrol boat.
