Saw this in TRU's Xmas catalog and thought it had potential in a Halo Elephant kinda way, the ImagiNext Supernova Battle Rover. Says it's 3"long by 2" wide. What's that math out to at 18th scale?

Imaginext has a whole bunch of cool things.
Seems like the cooler figures with playsets are now in the preschooler isle.

Just saw that in the Target catalog. Looks like a good base for a lot of projects. But yeah, 2Dark is right...that thing is going to be all over thrift stores.

Real scale would be 54 inches by 36 inches, four and a half feet by two feet.

I saw this thing IN PERSON today in a special display case at TRU.

It's so big I briefly thought it was some sort of ride-on toy for preschoolers -- and I hope the thing is sturdily built because I can readily see a preschooler easily mistaking it for one.

When I realized what it was and the figures it was for, my impression was, "This is as close to something on a grand scale like the USS Flagg that Imaginext is likely to get." Obviously, it's nowhere near as BIG as the Flagg, but it is huge, relative to the size of Imaginext figures.

Tons of stuff to do and an immense amount of play value. I think that if I were a little kid that was seriously into Imaginext, and I saw this item in the store, I'd probably have to be pried away from the display case by force, and I'd be begging and screaming for it for Christmas.

It does have a very preschool/Imaginext look to it, and converting/customizing it for use by, let's say, a more "serious" action figure line would take, in my opinion, a lot of work. And, indeed, if you're looking for one to customize, it might be best to wait until one turns up at a thrift store or some other "used goods" facility, that maybe has seen a fair amount of use and is no longer complete, and can be had at a bargain price. I'm not sure what the scale of it works out to, but it's clearly designed for use by the relatively small Imaginext figures, which are definitely not 1:18 scale.

In and of itself, it's a cool item, and I also found myself pondering how it was that a "little kids" line such as Imaginext warranted something THIS impressive, but hey, can't argue with the cool factor of it, within its own "universe".

I think it's because the line targets a really young audience that is still into plastic toys rather than big console gaming.

Their DC line is more developed than the one that's available in the actual action figure isle.
They have a great cast of characters, several vehicles and awesome playsets. They'll even make the Super Friends Hall of Doom! Even the "big kids" line never had that.
Add the compatibility between the various themes and you can create a whole bunch of fun and crazy adventures.
Send Batman in space, have him fight dragons and dinosaurs or even Dracula.

There's something both cool and depressing about all that...

Pics of prototypes or it didn't happen. Very interested if this is true.

Why does the top look like Angry Birds Star Wars?

I know the Hall of Doom came first, but to me it looks exactly like Stewie from the Family Guy Star Wars episodes.
