I'm new to this neck of the Joe woods and the current Group Project, Empty Seats, has me excited. This is something that I've spent time working on/figuring out for my Joeverse.

Joe has a lot of empty seats. A tank like the MOBAT would need more then one person to drive/operate it. The comics (#5) showed a minimum of 3. Cross Country needs more people to man the HAVOC.

The HISS needs a dedicated gunner.

Lots of room to create new characters to fill those roles. Can't wait to see what I can come up with out of the extra parts I have kicking around.

In my Joeverse, my Joes don't have/use many tanks. So I have Steeler and Heavy Metal as the commanders with guys like Thunder, Cross Country helping fill in the rest of the roles as the tank crew. They're all cross-trained so they can take whatever armor (Mobat, Mauler, HAVOC) best fits the mission profile.

The new Eaglehawk's Lift-Ticket got renamed to Lighthorse (from IDW). The Ghosthawk's Lift-Ticket and Tomahawk (from the RoC Ghosthawk) become the pilot and co-pilot of the Eaglehawk with Lighthorse as the loadmaster/gunner.

For the new HISS Tank, I use the old HISS drivers as the gunners (going in the rear compartment). I was able to buy a 5-pack of them from WS-Toys to go along with my 5 PoC HISS so have a driver and a gunner.

I use the Target Ultimate Battle Pack Vehicle Gunner as the passenger/gunner in the Stinger.

Joes, and Cobra, have so many positions to fill.

With Cross Country coming, an already getting Tollbooth and Cover Girl in the FSS, I've been working on coming up with a Mechanized Fast Attack Light Armor Unit for the Joes. This would consist of the H.A.V.O.Cat (the upcoming Club vehicle), Wolverine, Bridgelayer, R.A.M. and PoC VAMP. So that means I have 3 spots to fill (1 Havoc, 1 Bridgelayer, 1 Vamp).

Can't wait to get home and start playing around.

Yeah, this was about how already filled some of those empty seats.

Allot of the Comic Fodder characters fill those roles for me, also Green Shirts, reservists and Steel Brigade. I treat allot of the Joe Armor as limited run - IE there is only one Mobat, Mauler etc. So Heavy Metal has a set crew for his unit, Steeler's the same way. Guys like Steamroller would have to have at least 5 guys helping him with the MCC.
