I ordered five figures, which were showing in stock, but then three immediately were put on back order. Over a period of about two weeks I received the figures in four shipments, plus got an extra Ultimate Storm Shadow (I ordered one, but got two; one was on a damaged card with the bubble taped closed at the top). Hasbro should be doing a better job of keeping track of what they have and have not shipped, as well as getting shipments as near as complete as possible before sending them, even if they have to wait a day or two for more inventory. I would hate for them to put themselves into a financial pinch because of a lack of quality (and quantity) control on their part, as I like Hasbro Toy Shop.

My Jinx and Night-Viper showed up today, in separate boxes. Alas, no bags. But I can probably use the boxes to ship some eBay or Amazon stuff in.

VERY impressed with both figures here. Jinx is spectacular. A good version of the character from the movie, and a highly distinctive figure in her own right. Along with the decided scarcity of female figures in the line as a whole, I'm impressed with the yellow and black costume.

Only slight gripe is that the eyes are painted a little crooked, but it looks like it might be a factor of the sculpt, as well. Anyone else notice this, or am I being nit-picky? Granted, this can also be the chance one takes when buying online, which is why I prefer not to, but given the odds of seeing these figures at retail, AND the sale... Hey, well worth it.

I like the Night-Viper. Although brought together from mostly pre-existing parts, I nevertheless think that the end result is a very capable modern-style rendition of one of my all-time favorite Cobra trooper divisions. They certainly did an outstanding job matching the uniform colors, and I do like the unusual-colored Cobra emblem, and the patch on the arm is an even clearer version of the one from the original figure.

These figures are both outstanding, and I'm glad to have them. I'd still like to find a Combat Ninja, and wouldn't mind another Data-Viper or Night-Viper or two, I'm definitely that much closer to having all the Retaliation figures I want, and I really believe these are a couple of excellent entries in the line!

So on Tuesday, two weeks after placing my order and seeing zero activity on HTS part, I sent an email asking them to cancel my order.
Two days later I get a shipping notification.

I am really glad to be getting my order, but man does their customer service suck.

I hope that shipping notification was sent out AFTER they'd put the stuff in the mail, or FedEx, or whatever, Gaigaan-Dnok. I have this horrible image of some clerk running out to the loading dock yelling "Wait! Wait! He canceled his order!"

Kidding -- I HOPE.

Finally got my Mara Jade figure. It was shipped 12/5 and got here this morning. Kind of impressive, since it was shipped from PA and delived in PA and according to tracking info, never left the state. I'm just happy I got it, because I thought it was lost. Also glad it wasn't crushed, because it was just that figure in the box and no packaging material.

Actually got my order, and it was all there.
7 figures in one box. Only two little air bags, for padding, but everything was in good shape.

No bag.
