The Adventure Team idea could be cool, but I doubt the Club will make one since the existing 3-3/4" Adventure Team offerings did not sell as well as they had hoped.

They overpriced that stuff by about $10 per set.

I bought one Air Adventurer annd the doc venom set, but I'd have bought them all at a slightly lower price point.

Adventure Team would be awesome.
The produced sets weren't popular because people didn't want to pay for vehicles they didn't want.
If they only released the figures, it would have been a hit.

Another possibility that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out there... Super Joe in 3 3/4". I think the regular guys could be done pretty easily (Super Joe, Super Joe Commander) but Gor, Luminous and the Shield may need new tooling. Just a thought (and I may be the only one would buy the set) ;)

I think the odds are better on Mike Power and Bulletman (both of whom I wouldn't mind). There's never been any indication that Super Joe is part of current continuity, even within the Club's storylines. Granted, it WOULD be interesting.

Another interesting point has been made -- something entirely new! We're just assuming it will be something familiar since the modern-style Convention Sets to date have generally been used to make modern-style figures of established characters that Hasbro wouldn't be terribly likely to get around to, such as Oktober Guard, Night Force, etc, or completing certain teams like Python Patrol, while introducing occasional new characters such as Crimson Asp and Freestyle, and working in a certain international flavor with the likes of Letal, Mortal, and a few others.

But the traditional-style sets definitely gave us a lot of new characters and troopers, such as the Dreadheads, Major Bludd's Skull Squad, the Coil. the Black Dragons, the original Swamp-Vipers, and others. An entirely new-character Convention Set could be very interesting indeed!

2015 is the 20th anniversary of Extreme. I don't think I'm the only one who would love ME versions of those characters . . . And yeah, this was about next years set, but as long as we're blue skying . . .

For some reason, that makes me feel old. I mean, thinking the toys I grew up with are 30+ years old is one thing, but the line that came out when I was officially an adult is 20. Dang. Otherwise, yeah, those would be neat to get as a set.

Cheesy as the cartoon was and as bad as the figures were, Extreme did have some cool characters and cool looking too. I have already made Freight and Harpoon. One issue might be Metal Head. Iron Grenadier's missile specialist or Joe's computer geek/head hanger? Idea: since Hi-tech of VvV fame is essentially a copy of Metal Head, a renaming could be in order.

Eh, we've already got 3 Docs, two Claymores, and two Mortals, I think people will figure it out.

Same here. I just just now got the other three sets when they were on sale. If they just sold the figures carded and dropped the stupid vehicles, these would of sold out fast.

I know that the Club thinks the Adventure Team needs vehicles, but I think most of us agree that they were an unnecessary inclusion for 3-3/4" collectors. I purchased all of the sets at regular price, but I would have been perfectly happy to just get the figures by themselves. Regardless, the Club looked at the actual numbers and decided the sales weren't good enough to make more 3-3/4" Adventure Team offerings.

Cobra as the main set -
Title :A PLAGUE upon your house...
Guillotine leads a team of the cruelest Cobra troops around. To prove their skill and taunt gijoe they attack a Steel Brigade NOMAD detachment testing a new armored assault vehicle in the afghan desert.

Most def. A set allot of us could get behind

If production is coming to an end for G.I.Joe they might need to stretch things out a bit. I'm betting they go back to the basics and give us Cobra army builders with 2 or 3 leaders and 3 Joes in the box set.

which would be awesome

I hope the membership figure next year is Star Brigade. it won't be but I can dream. The Club could do awesome things with existing parts and make a space suit.

nova will probably be right, especially considering the prototypes we have seen for the zombies.... personally i would much rather see eco wariors and zombies as two 7 packs... mainly so i can army build the zombies :-)
