I'm with you DREMEL, but my fear is that they would go with the SW type build instead of the Joe type build and then I would be finished collecting Joe figures and limited in fodder for customizing. But......If they did go with the Joe type for SW, that would really open up the customizing frontier for me.

No, Lucasfilm supposedly refuses to let 'mere' Joes share in SW awesomeness, or something dumb like that. Hasbro would be all over the idea, imho.

Maybe the difference in sculpts and body types is a way to make sure that the different licensed characters are not part of the GI Joe brand unlike the SF and MK characters were back in the days. Must be a way to clearly seperate the various brands even out of the packaging.

Must be why the Indy toys were build like Star Wars figures.
