It's gotta be a deliberate sabotage, imho. There's simply no conceivable way a rational adult would sacrifice a vital POA in favor of one that doesn't exist in healthy humans.

Yeah, I saw them yesterday at Zapp Comics, and thought they were laughably short. I doubt that I will ever need a squad of midget troopers.... :rotfl:

However, if they released a Weapons/Accessory Pack.....

Mid-thigh swivel instead of bicep swivel?
That's just lame. They can't hold their weapons correctly, but they can sit in the lotus position?
Gears of Meditation figures, coming to a store near you.

They do have mid-thigh, but it's the inclusion if the anatomically-nonexistent mid calf swivel at the sacrifice of the vitally-required hindarm swivel that's simply baffling.

The importance and utility of full hindarm motion has been a settled debate for 18th figs for 30 years now. For NECA to make essentially a perfect action figure without hindarm swivel is paramount to a luxury car maker producing a masterpiece of a car, then throwing away the entire concept of keyed ignition and throwing an old-timey handcrank on the front. It's just bafflingly stupid.

Bashed the Marcus figure on to a movie Roadblock last night. Makes the figure much better looking. I'll get some pics tonight.

Here he is with the stock version....
