Even though others have claimed the mid-torso joint provides more true motion, from an asthetic standpoint, it doesn't look that great. Hasbro has gotten better over the years at it, but if it were left up to me, the waist joint still wins out. On some figures, especially those with a logo, it's distracting when the torso is broken up like that. The best modern-era figures are the ones that have gear covering the joint, so it makes me wonder why Hasbro even bothers with it, to begin with. If Hasbro had used DTC Major Barrage as the template for them to improve upon, I'd be stoked beyond all belief. I'd kill for a Punisher figure in that format
