This isn't the same as the DC reboot. From what I've read this is just a continuation of the current continuity with a new #1 issue and storyline. I guess we'll see in February how much of the existing continuity stays intact.

A continuation combined with a pretty serious re-set of the tone, direction, and style is the implication being taken. You could turn all the Joes into mutant heroes at this point, and they could still say it's a continuation, if the old stories are the pre-change history.

I'm being silly only partly for effect. Please nobody tell the writer my whole mutant idea. I think he'd like that story arc... Then the Baroness could be his Joker and Magneto all at once...
