I go tothe Children's Museum on a regular basis with my kids, they always have some joes on display somewhere. Rigth now thy have some of Ryan White's Defiant complex and some of his Joes that Hasbro had donated to him. Hopefully this will get the clubs attention and they mightbring the convention to Indy.

It's no surprise.
Like it was mentioned in the article, Joe allowed you to create any adventures. He could be any hero from soldier to space adventurer.

I'm surprised it beat out Barbie. (Happy, but surprised.)

While G.I.*JOE is my favorite toy line I am actually surprised by this. I would have thought Hot Wheels or Barbie or Legos would have been considered the favorite. Hopefully whomever the knucklehead is in charge of toy lines at Hasbro recognizes this and maybe gives G.I*JOE its proper credit.

There's not much that "knucklehead" can do if retailers aren't very supportive of the line. If anyone truly believes that Hasbro doesn't want GI Joe to be a huge success and wouldn't love to have loads of product on the shelves at every major retailer right now, you're crazy.
