I would love to see Hasbro make something like this, though printed on a think plastic sheet instead of paperboard. It would have to be rigid enough to not roll up, too. Playmates printed the Enterprise's bridges floor on a vinyl roll-up mat. Good idea but horrible execution. The mat wrinkles and will not sit flat.

A command/control room would be a perfect excuse. 3 solid walls printed with flat screen computer monitors, each loaded with tons of images. Make this, Hasbro!

Try blasting it with a hair dryer.

I think I would rather give money to J_man for his design.

He's improved on the original design.

Thanks! Actually if there were a big rush of new cardboard sets, I bet I'd get lots of new emails asking if I could convert them too. That's the one thing I do see any time new cardboard items hit the market. People will use them and have them for their backdrops, but they still prefer something more permanent.

I don't know if I would get them or not. If they had a vintage feel to their design, I probably would. But if they didn't have that look, probably not. And that is just because they are in fact cardboard. If they are going to make a playset, I want it to be real plastic.

Sorry for the double post, maybe "Try blasting it with a hair dryer" is the new "I'm pretty sure that's Robocop's gun"
