Chap Mei designs are awesome although there execution is sometimes lacking. I'm usually not disappointed in the vehicles and dio pieces but the weapons are horribly oversized and while the figures are designed well the lack of articulation kills them. I was especially disappointed in the Pirates and the Cowboys lines that didn't even have hip joints.

Agreed - the figures have been hit or miss - one day they roll out new Soldier Force figures with more articulation, and the next they roll out figures with none!

I also always hated that they like this "one hand up and other sideways" thing going on. Another peeve of mine is that they only do paint details on the front side - cheap.

Sometimes I wonder if there are two design teams - one for the playsets/vehicles and one for the figures...

BTW, the vault does open when the arrows are lined up - there are shelves inside for the money bags and gold bars. There is a break-away section that can be pulled off by the magnet on the cycle.

One funny easter egg - there are three cuts in the metal on the vault that look like Wolverine's claws...

I see Chap Mei stuff at TRU a lot, but never at Walmart.
