The Target by my office got in Real Steel wave 2 finally. I grabbed them all but the battle damaged Zeus. The junkyard Atom has a blue light unlike the inaccurate green on the wave 1 version. Six Shooter is cool, as is Metro. Ambush is the one I really couldn't wait to get. He's got a pretty accurate sculpt, but he's way too clean. I'll be painting the unpainted details and aging him a bit once I get home.

Is Ambush the superhero one? I saw that one, and Six-Shooter yesterday.

Rented the movie over the weekend. Pretty good if you liked Over the Top from the 80's. I'm going to have to grab Six Shooter from Wave 2. If Ambush looked more like the movie I'd go for it but the toy is very plain.

Kilcarr, Ambush kind of like he was in the movie. http://superpunch.blogspot.com/2011/10/ ... -toys.html

Ambush the action figure http://www.amazon.com/Real-Steel-Figure ... B004XOILNC

Okay, the Ambush I saw was a bright blue with some "LASER BLAST" looking "wear" painted on. I like it, but I'd either want it to be clean, or rough like in the movie. Not in-between.

Ambush would make for a badass Sentinel prototype.

I was thinking S.T.R.I.P.E. from DC

That'd work too. X-23 would make a good Star Girl.

I wanted a 3D version of this movie... I haven't seen the new wave of figures yet.

Do they have swivel elbows yet? I almost snagged an Adam and Zeus on clearance, but passed due to lack of swivel elbows. Swivel elbows are a must. I don't trust any toy company that doesn't believe in swivel elbows. *looksatbandai*

Still haven't seen the movie yet.

That quote is my new signature.

I've been saying this for years. No mid bicep swivel (or equivalent) = no purchase.
