This definition is very clear, but maybe add a couple of examples? "Big Box Store - Big national or multi-regional chain department stores, such as Target or WalMart"

'Buck'

The "buck" is a Truncated form of the term "Standard Buck". A standard Buck is the basis for the articulation of an action figure... it sets the minimums needed to manufacture a figure...In order to accomidate the needed engineering, and meet specific tolerances, parts can not be any smaller than the "Buck"

Those could come in handy!

Good call. I also added Krogers as the occassional grocery store that carries toys.

I always thought a 'buck' was a basic figure who's mold was used over and over again. Stalker v1 (assuming he was the first figure) was the 'buck' for other O13 figures with just a head swap, that mold also being used later for the Stars and Stripes figures then later for the comic pack figures. Lady Jaye v1 is the 'buck' for her other versions and Voltage and Diana and Lady Doc, etc...

The original MOTU figures seemed to go nuts with reusing the same mold over and over, the original He-Man being the 'buck.'

How about also defining ARAH era, new sculpts, ME/25th/RoC/PoC/30th/Renegades, O-ring, T-Crotch, etc.

Good call. Added the eras as well as a little RAH anatomy. Then got into different comic publishers, cartoon animators, and "hiatus" and Sigma Sux.

Hey, you know what else would be good in the wiki? A scan of that 25th figure breakdown that Hasbro had at the atlanta con -- anybody have that electronic?

Not sure Hasblow needs to be in there, as it has a pretty obvious meaning, and doesn't necessarily look good on us making it sound official and all...

How about 'Snake Staked' as a term. :shifty:

Snake Staked added along with its own Meta entry describing where it came from.

How about "Custom Fodder" Figures aquired specifacally for use to customize, not added as is to the collection or figures aquired in a lot or other meandering that are added to the fodder bin.

Or something along those lines....

Fodder bin, a collection of figures, etc use just for customizing.

Fodder is already in there but I'll add Fodder bin.

I'm wondering if we can put a Glossary link on the main Wiki Main Page. If pluv didn't point out on page 2 of this thread where to find it, it is not at all obvious.
