That's what I thought from looking at it. Thanks for the info!

And I guess I'll wait until we get pics of the "real" figure before I decide to get some or now.

It definitely looks based on the SDCC Destro, but you can tell that the vest is part of the torso, and not the jacket. Now whether that's because it's a prototype or not, I can't say. And yes, his hips do look a bit odd. I don't think we'll know much more until the figure hits shelves though.

Having seen it up close in person, I can tell you that the vest is not part of the torso but oddly the tie seemed fused to the vest, despite being obviously an SDCC Destro tie (notable by the jewel) which was separate. Odder still, the mockup definitely had a T-crotch.

yeah, when I looked before, I saw enough Destro parts I just kind of imagined the rest was the same. Legs obviously aren't, even in the pics (so I was wrong there), let alone with shadowsun's firsthand account.

So now, I'll go back to my earlier point on modified articulation, given the nature of the character and that chair. Also, with the chair, it figures to be some kind of deluxe figure somehow, right? At least in the movie lines, a t-crotch isn't unheard of in a deluxe figure setting.

That said, I'd still buy plenty of them, so I'm not going to sweat it yet.

There's no deluxe price point for the MU line though. So if it's not in a multipack, it'll be single carded. Given that he was shown alone in the panel, single carded is the most likely. With the chair it's probably not more plastic than the larger characters like Apocalypse, so . . .

I do hope they go with normal MU hips though. It's an easy enough fix, and I've got plenty of RoC Cobra Commanders that can lend legs if need be, but I'd rather not have to.

Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping for the best still. But as long as he's the right height, I won't be as mad about weird hips on a suited figure as I might be on another. In fact, for a suited figure, I'd take the t-crotch over Marvel Movie Hips, with the unnecessary double swivel.

But I'd prefer some good old fashioned Joe hips too.

Amen to that. Still the best hips of any figure that I own, no matter the size.

Cool, another suit source. Might be good for that Daniel Craig head, since I gave his that Face suit/body mix to my Golgo-13 custom. Makes it very Nintendo.
