I recently picked up Mark Bellomo's book ''The Ultimate Guide to GI Joe 1982-1994'' 2nd edition. I have to say that I love it. The behind the scenes info is great, the pictures are clear and it should be a part of every Joe fan's bookcase, IMHO.

Does anyone know if there is a second volume, with 1997-present figures? I would definitely buy a reference book that includes GvC, VvV, etc.

Ron Connor did a series of paperback mags that covered 1997-2007 or so. Not quite as good as Bellomos book, but still worth picking up. I believe his website is toysandtreasures.com

If you want more from Bellomo on GIJOE, you can watch the 18 episode doc I did on him just before the release of the 2nd edition book. Episodes 8-12 are all GIJOE but there's lots of good stuff elsewhere.

That documentary is great. I watched all the Joe episodes and some of the rest. That is an impressive collection. I didn't know that Mark Bellomo had also done an Ultimate Guide to Transformers. I'll have to check that out as well.
