There were no terrible choices here, so I went with Heavy Duty because I liked his colors the least.

I chose Heavy Duty, too, just because he was the least of the lot, but still not bad.

If Oktober Guard were on this list, I'd have to include them. Brekhov's uniform was basically barf green, Big Bear is NOT Gorky and the grey was too light, and although Volga is an interesting enough figure and character, she was intended to be Daina, and the end result is not how I painted her for the prototype. Since we ultimately got an actual Daina figure, I've been more charitable towards Volga, though.

whoa.. I don't know how anyone can vote for Heavy-Duty he's the only one that is a honest improvement over the original figure.

I went with Ace because I just don't like that "astronaut" look he has, even if it looks a bit better in grey than it did in white.

I had to go with Heavy Duty, though Thunder Wing is a close second.

The divers all look great in black, the gray Ace really appealed to me, but Heavy Duty's color selections were just too dull. If they were going to be that drab, they needed to be actual camo colors and patterns. The result is just an eye sore to me.

None of them were really bad per se. I went with Torpedo, because

1. He wasn't needed again, his original mold was released in 1997. Given the few characters released this is more true. (I could've voted Ace, too.)

2. Wet-Suit V2 body I was fine with, reusing the head...not so much. And they kept the hair brown, at least for the much later TRU VAMP set they changed the hair to black. One can argue it makes a better Torpedo head than Wet-Suit...maybe, but Wet-Suit had no other unmasked head at that time.

Shipwreck. Close call, but his colours just don't look that good together.
