It's quite possible they have. That new con logo went up last week some time (was there on Christmas Eve day).

Do we really need a new logo change? I thought it was one of the best things to come out of the movie. VVV stars w/ stripes was similar, and some Btr guys i think had it running up and down side to side those were good too. But why keep using different ones? Can't we just pick one. I would think that would help with brand recognition.
