I agree on keeping the SHS version over this new one and that wolverine will be used for my VanDame custom if I can find it and I found the new MU wave with Jean Grey the other day at my local wal-mart and with the sale I may get her and the new spidey fig witch looks awesome.

I had thought the same thing, but then the other glaring flaws changed my mind.

I really don't like the face sculpt, and the over developed traps, that result in the lack of a neck, turned me off too. He really has no up and down movement to his head. It's pretty much restricted to just left and right.

His lack of wrist articulation was another turn off. He has Joe/ Star Wars shoulders and elbows, but I really prefer the articulation on the MLS version (ball shoulder, swivel bicep, elbow, wrist swivel and wrist elevation). I also prefer the more classic look to the MLS version, especially his head sculpt and overall build.

The new Hasbro version really is not a "bad" figure. The sculpting is really well done (even if I don't like the face), but the articulation is lacking in some areas, and a little too hampered in other areas. The Hasbro version would be good with some work, but I am already happy with the MLS version, as is. Plus it's kind of hard to tell how disproportionate his arms would look, if his legs were lengthened.

I surprisingly got my Colossus the day after Black Friday. Pretty cool figure in my opinion.
