This, and things like DC's crossovers and Secret War/Secret Invasion/Dark Reign, is why I have given up buying comics and only pick up the occasional graphic novel. Mainly graphics like the 'Essentials' and 'Showcase', plus the Dredd reprints.

That's why I dislike IDW. They killed my interest in Transformer comics, and now they're doing it with G.I.Joe. I haven't been to the comic shop in a while to get any of the G.I.Joe comics that's come out and I really don't know if I want to bother. It's just too much. Too much to buy and too much to follow.
