I didn't see much ressemblance with the Hammer, myself. I see it as a healthy hybrid of the best aspects of the original VAMP, the Desert Fox and the Night Ops Humvee into one wonderful vehicle.

I'd rather modify one and make a Resolute Cobra Stinger Jeep for my Resolute Stinger Driver..

The VAMP driver has a sledgehammer, could we possibly be getting a new.... Tollbooth!? That would truly RULE!

I think both vehicles will be buys for me, but seeing them in full colored deco's will determine just how many of each.

Nope, it's just an add-on accessory for the VAMP itself, just like the sledgehammer on the Night Ops Humvee.

I like both a lot, but I am not that enthused about the "raising up" action on the HISS.

It reminds me of the things I did not like about the Razorback, Raider, and Ferret (did I miss any?)
