wow.

cheap.

the plastic 'feels' cheap.

the attachments' plastic doesn't match the classic attachments in content or color

but worst of all: there's no internal graphics, either pre-applied or included as stickers.

that's a phail, as far as i'm concerned...

although, it looks good in black...

on a scale of 1-10?

7.

just because it's classic, and in black, and i use the internal support & never really see the inside anyway.

and it comes with a figure.

Thanks for the comments. Just got mine today, but haven't opened them yet. The only complaint that won't bother me (and you addressed it toward the end) is the 'no internal stickers' comment. I never display SNAKE suits open, so I don't care about the internal stickers (or figure, actually, and always used non-Joes as a kid).

Okay, I just opened one of mine. While the attachments aren't rubbery, they don't seem cheap. I actually like them, since they won't droop. I'd love an updated SNAKE suit with more articulation, but for the nostalgic appeal, this thing is great.

Actually, i think the armor feels cheap - not as "nice" as the old plastic - i don't know exactly what i mean by that... maybe it's thinner? lighter? i don't know... something...

the attachments bugged me mainly for the color difference - i put a vintage machine gun into a new arm collar... and it's not subtle...

I found one today for the first time, and promptly sliced it up for a custom. I kinda regretted doing it. It's a cool little toy on its own, and I love the color choice for the Viper Commando. Hoping to find another at some point.

Saw this tonight at Target along with the Evel Knieval Storm Shadow.

No rush to get it right now.

Ah, got ya. Yeah, the plastic does feel lighter and maybe cheaper, but the mold details are nice, so it's a wash for me. The attachment color is no biggie to me, since I'll just be using them on these SNAKEs....errr Serpents. Sorry they kind of suck for you.

I like them. I finally saw them in store today after ordering them online. Stores need to learn how to rotate stock better. I'd be a jerk as a DM, hehe.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the armor DOES come with the rubber insert so that the armor can be stand alone. I was wondering about that before getting it and didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Well any place I've had the chance to look.

One other thing I came across today was a Tigra figure with the build a figue. The Nemesis part is the head and upper body. That's a good starting point for building a ROC game Snake Armor. I did pick up the figure. I have no idea when I'll have time but I wanted the part so if I can do it, I'll have the chance.
