Just wondering if the current $5 price and $6 at Target will continue after the holiday season.
Or will it jump back up to 7-8 bucks a pop?

Your thoughts?

I hope so. I just wish TRU would drop prices again. My cheapness gene won't let me buy the TRU Bench Press and Snow Serpent for $8 when Wally world has figs for $5.
I know they're "exclusives" but really. Besides, TRUs by me still only have wave 1&2. Same with Target.
The only thing that's ticking me off about Wally world now is I keep missing Resolute/CS Snake Eyes. I got everyone else I wanted from the wave, but I can't seem to get him. Oh well.

Two of my three Target stores already reraised the prices back to $8.

I think it depends on how well they keep selling or not. Even at $5, the first couple of waves don't seem to moving to fast, so I think we're safe for now.

I wouldn't be surprised if prices were raised when PoC hits the shelves. Or maybe only when the next movie comes out.

I can't say how long the 5 buck price will last but one thing I can say and Hasbro should know.......

At 7+ Per figure I bought maybe 2 figures a month. When it dropped to 5 per fig I started buying 1 or 2 a week.
If this applys to others as well then it would only make since to keep the lower price point to move the products fast.

I even bought figures that I had passed on as lower quality or just Blah so I could have fodder. I rarely pay retail for fodder, but at 5 bucks Ill do it.

So in my opinion and buying practices keeping the 5 buck price point is perfect. Now if they would drop the vehicles to 10.00 I would buy the crap out of them as well.

+1

Yeah, at $7 a pop I get real choosy and don't get multiples. At $5 I've picked up extra Helixes, Sgt Stones, and Armored Scarletts.
$5 is a sweet price. Even my wife doesn't mind me picking up a few figs when its 2 for $10.

I'm with ogre my wife doesn't mind either. At that price point I threw two figs in the buggy though one was a Starwars. which reminds me they have hit $6 on those. All these figs reall should be $5. I know I'd buy all kinds of figs i normally wouldn't at this price.

At five bucks a pop I've been grabbing fodder I didn't even think of doing when they were almost eight dollars.

"LASER BLAST", at five a piece I've been slowly clearing the old waves at my wal-mart when I pick up new stuff as the first two waves or so aren't moving. And I want to get into making customs and have a ton of ideas without the experience to make them.
