That's a little soon to clearance, but I guess they figure they'll do it before Christmas and move some stock. Really not that bad of an idea but not usual practice for Wal-Mart.

Hmmm. I am going to have to do that. I just ordered a $49 Skywarp from Wal-Mart.com so I could return the $60 one I bought. $30 is even sweeter.

I still have my $43 AT-ST sitting next to my desk. Might be able to get a better deal on that.

I've been dying for the Octapurras to go down. They've not gone down here yet, as I watch them weekly.

If the Turbo Tank goes to $50, I'm dropping my wad on one, and parting out the figure and speeder. I just want the massive Juggernaut of a vehicle for my 40K stuff.

I was at mine today for the big Octo droid, but it still rang up on the price checker for $35, i should have asked someone if there was anybody around there.

Yeah, are you? Because I was just at my Walmart, and yeah, they were in the overflow aisle of toys by the garden section (though so is the entire toy section) and they were full price. This was also the first time I've ever seen them, so I was under the assumption that they just came out.

May I suggest that if you are going to do that, you do so AFTER you buy it and take it out the of the store. Store management and the law frowns upon this.

Unfortunately I doubt this is ALL Walmarts. I was at mine today, and the Skywarps were still at $60 (for $30 I'd get him!) and the Joe Playsets were also still at full price, and they were all still IN the toy section.

Definitely going to keep an eye on this, however. Thanks for the tip!

Not all Wally Worlds prices hit at the same time. Especially CLEARANCE prices. Sometimes some things don't even go to clearance.

Wal-Mart clearance is almost completely up to the individual store manager. So I wouldn't expect to see these prices anywhere else, unless you're extremely lucky.
