Where my Mamba's blades attach to the rotors are loose. I know it was designed to have some 'play' between the two, so that the blades don't break off... but mine are extra, extra loose. I can barely get them to spin. So, my question is: has anyone ever glued the blades to the rotors?

no, but if you were going to do this, id say use elmers glue. that way if you change your mind, you can just peel it right off without damaging anything.

I have had several Mambas, two of which I got new when they came out. every one of them has loose blades. The plastic for the rotor hubs don't take well to bending and stressed the first time you use them and stayed slightly bent, never returning to a position that would allow them to grab the blades.

I discovered early on that the strange rotor configuration of the Mamba (mine, anyway) didn't really allow for the rotors turning without whacking into each other. I figured if they were slightly offset it might work. So I actually "customized" my Mamba by whittling down the alignment "notches" and then gluing the rotors down at a slight offset angle relative to the copter itself. This not only allowed the rotors to turn properly, but they've stayed well-glued.

Which is probably more of an answer than you were really looking for...

I used a hot glue gun to keep mine in place. The nice thing about hot glue is that it will pull apart easily when you need it too.

No no... that's exactly what I wanted to know... that they could be glued, and still spin without 'whacking' each other. Thanks!

I've got one of those! I'll try it today...
