So the latest G.I.Joe Collectors' Club Newsletter has a two-page spread of forthcoming vehicles. And maybe this stuff has been common knowledge, but as a friend of mine pointed out to me in an e-mail today -- I'm not the best internet searcher in the world (yes, I know what Google is, thank you kindly) :-D

And -- I think I may be going broke on the vehicles. I have to say I'm impressed. We have the Armored Panther, a recoloring of the Armadillo in what looks like a truly superb and very intricate camouflage color scheme. We have the Wolf Hound, a renaming of the Snow Cat, also with an impressive camo scheme -- and it looks like the missiles may be spring loaded this time. And we have the Cobra Fury, a re-do of the Cobra Rage, also on what looks to be a cool color scheme.

There's also what look to be two entirely new vehicles. Certainly I don't recognize them offhand -- and if they have been produced before would someone please tell me? I'll admit I wasn't that attentive during the newsculpt years. But whatever the case the Cobra Ice Cutter and the Cobra HISS Attack Scout definitely look like a couple of must-haves!

There goes the budget -- again... :-/

Hey i was wondering do they show the packaging for the upcoming poc stuff in the articles or just the vehicles themselves? I'm very curious on what the new packaging will look like. Thanks.

I agree with everything you said except for the HISS Scout. I am just not drinking the Kool-Aid on that one. I think it is terrible. But I hear it will connect to the upcoming HISS somehow. I might get it for that reason if it is cool.

The only one I'm really feeling is the Ice Cutter. The other ones are definitely solid updates if you like those vehicles.

The newsletter -- at least the print version which I received in the mail today -- didn't show any of them in their packages, just loose.

The HISS Scout is perhaps the weirdest of the lot -- with the exception of the G.I.Joe Cycle Armor. I thought someone had accidentally put a Transformer on the page -- but I'll still likely get it. Wasn't aware a new HISS was in the works.

I'll get the Rage if it ever shows up at retail. Maybe the Gi Joe Armor Cycle depending on a few more pictures of it. The Hiss scout looks cool, but I'm not 100% sold on it.

Trekker, if the new HISS is half as cool as what was shown at the 'con, you'll love it. I like the HISS Scout, as I see it as a slightly beefier buggy to kind of fill in for Cobra where the Joes have the AWE Striker.
Yes, the missiles on the Wolf Hound are spring-loaded, but they're done the way spring-loaded should be. The missiles don't look to be any bigger than the originals (or at least not much), and the launcher is about the same size as the original, rather than over-sized like spring-loaded usually tends to mean. I can't wait to get all the vehicles shown, and probably multiples of the bike/armor.

I am looking forward to all the repaints. I also love all the new stuff. That Hiss scout will most likely be used as a chassis for a hiss taken apart in my Cobra motor pool.
