Just read over at General Joes that both Resolute and Rise of Cobra will be released on DVD on November 3rd, 2009.

Resolute will not be available on Blu-Ray.

Rise Of Cobra will be available in a single disk, two disk set, or Blu-Ray. The two disk set obviously having the special features we movie geeks have come to love so much with the DVD format.

Gonna save my pennies.

I'm glad they're doing a 2-disc dvd set. Still wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch more extras on the blu-ray version!

November 3rd seems to be the day for cool DVDs...

Just read in SW Insider that the Clone Wars Season I box set will be coming out that day as well. Special features abound, even more so on the Blue-Ray version

I personally think its a marketing ploy (and a good one at that)

releasing The G.I.Joe Movie, Resolute, AND the Clone Wars First season on the same day, a month before Christmas rush sales?

I guarentee the Hasbro action figure aisle will be empty by November 10th.... (and a good way to finally put out all those extra waves we've been looking for.)
