What's the best deal you've found for figure stands?

So far I've found Guru-Planet sells them in lots of 100. With the price and S&H, they come out to about 25 cents a piece.

I like the stands that Marauder's sells, but they are a bit spendy.

Yeah that sounds like a good deal. Even the ones I'm working on, I'll admit are going to be a bit pricey to some, though mine will be more environmental and more of an expansion on the display stuff I do. Plus of course it'll be hand made since I don't have the option of factory made, hehe. I'm trying to aim in the $.65 range and do package deals for lower:

Marauder's have the ability to connect and expand while setting up a display. That feature along with the dual peg I'm sure is a little more costly to have made, so it's priced well.

But yeah if you want a no frills straight out stand that's nothing but a piece of plastic and a peg, here's a good site to go to:

There's plenty of straight forward stand. A lot of people usually want that and are fine with it. There's also the tack putty too if you are more in the idea of having a free standing figure. Also hot glue works as well. I mention these last 2 ideas because there are collectors that do not like figure stands and do not like the stands breaking up the illusion of the scene.

Danke, J-Man...The Collecting Warehouse has a lot of good stuff. I like to try to consolodate my purchases so I'm not paying extra for S&H from four different shops, they have a few things I've been needing, nice to get it all at one place. I'm just looking for basic stands right now to display on a book case, but once I clear out a bit of space, I might buy a couple of your sceanic stands and backdrops, maybe hit you up for a couple custom decals as well.

I'm a huge fan of the new Maruader Inc. stands. They are so nifty.

The only problem I have with John's stands are the dual foot-peg and the fact that they can't be staggered, leaving every figure in a formal grid pattern when the stands are interlocked.

I like the fact that they're small, taking up a footprint no bigger than the figure itself. The Pro-tech stands are a bit obnoxious, taking up far more space than they need to. An ovular shape would mitigate a lot of that.

Those dio-based stands look great, especially in conjunction with those backdrops.

Hey!
You can achieve a "staggered" display by varying which ends you connect (rather than ALL being "long" side to "long" side, connect some "long" side to "short" side). Or don't even connect the stands together &use as you would a "regular" stand...stagger the positions as you desire! As for the "dual" peg issue...a tiny "snip" is all it takes to have a single peg.

The Marauder IDS stands are an Interlocking Display System..so there are more options than just a standard stand. There are lots of simple & inexpensive stands out there, so wanted to release a stand that addessed those neglected needs (stability, wide array of figures that can use the item, unifrom troop formation and "balanced" intense action poses).

Sometimes you want vanilla ice cream and sometimes you want a Chocolate fudge Sundae with nuts, whip cream & sprinkles! :-D

Well said! Can't wait to have the display space to nab some for myself.

The Marauder stands are the best thing to happen to action figure collecting in a long time.

They're small, versatile, and fit nearly every action figure ever made. Plus with them interlocked the figures mounted on them are virtually impossible to knock over even when you bump your display shelves all the time like I do. Not that I'm a clumsy oaf or anything :shifty:

They might be a tiny bit more expensive than the cheapies, but I'll pay the extra for the added functionality. Make Mine Marauder!

Well, I stand corrected, as always. I'll definitely give these another look now, as I'm currently at 150+ Cobra infantry of various types, all flopping and falling on the breeze.

I smell a broken piggy bank in my future. Thanks for the correction, sir!

I just want some cheap stands for my Joes to stand around on my shelves with their vehicles. I'm planning on ordering some of Marauder's stands for my Cobra troops, so they can all stand in a uniformed formation. I tried it with the regular stands, and it's difficult to get them to stand in pefect rows and columns because some stands are wider than others, etc. I wanted to get a picture of them in formation and had several domino effects in the process of setting them up.
I'm very cautious when vacuuming around my Joe shelves so as not to knock the guys over, but also because the suicide rate of my non-Joe figures is alarming as they tend to jump off the shelves on their own and I don't want to suck up their weapons and gear.
