Did anyone here or anywhere do a review of the Headquarters for Heros Barbeque and Firefly? Yojoe is slow to update their archives, so I have nothing to go on for these two. I'm wondering if these two figures are even worth my time to hunt them down, as I haven't seen them in any of my TRUs yet, and the second wave is do out any time now. I guess they are both just repaints, but what base figure is used for Firefly or parts? Also wondering about accesories they came with. Thanks for any info on this.

I can't speak for Barbeque, but Firefly is AWESOME. His base figure is Airborne, I think, and he's just so cool. He's loaded with accessories and he can even fit them all on his figure in some capacity. He has the goggles from the comic pack, DTC Salvo's launcher, 25th Beachhead's gun, a little satchel, wirecutters, a flashlight, a notched knife, a gas can, a spare ammo cartridge, and a backpack.

Nope, the base body is the Resolute Trooper. He is awesome though, my stepson loves him :)

Ah, you're right! Whoops. His gear is from Airborne. Got the parts mixed up.

BBQ is pretty boring.

Firefly is awesome. top 5 for movie figures in my book.

Firefly is the best Firefly ever made. It's worth owning. It's worth hunting down, and it's readily available at TRU.

Thanks guys for all the info. I think I'll track me down a set, just to see if I want to continue looking for any others, plus I like the Resolute Trooper and I would really like to check out that sculpt in gray.

I wish I was in your guys area, as I haven't seen these anywhere locally.

I'm wishing you lots of luck on finding the Firefly. You really missed out big if you don't get one of those.

Man, Firefly and BBQ is overflowing the shelves at my TRU. Big pegwarmers, but I agree that Firefly is awesome and by far the best version we have had.

Barbecue is cool, but nothing special. I like the black/yellow look on BBQ, but other than custom fodder he doesn't really serve a purpose.

Firefly is all that and a bag of chips. Seriously, best Firefly ever made.

As for availability: I know the TRU where I used to work had them from talking to the employees, but I never saw them :(

I just picked up a Firefly at TRU.com. They have both BBQ and FF. May save you some time and gas.

I concur regarding Firefly. I bought him just to make 2 on the 2 for $10 deal and was pleasantly surprised.

I also want to give props to the Barbecue. He's more subdued look makes him the BBQ to use when you have a firefight or infiltration of Cobra Island, etc. On the deck of the Flagg or making rounds at the PIT the traffic cone look works, but its always been a reason to me to keep him off the battlefield, but this TRU BBQ is battle ready. The yellow is still a bit weird but its an improvement for sure.

The BBQ yellow reminds me of the shirts wild land firemen wear
