I saw 2 Wal-Mart Rise of Cobra 12" figures tonight. They were Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. They looked like the 12" figures that came out last year, but they're repainted and some changes done such as Snake Eyes wearing the blue camo pants like the Target exclusive Snake Eyes. They both come with "Ninja Cycles" which are repainted Sigma 6 motorcycles. I didn't get either one so I don't know if there is anything different with those motorcycles beyond the paint. They were $30 each so I passed.

Here's a shot I did of the Snake Eyes figure. I had it in the basket and was going to get it until I saw the price. Heck I saw the new 2 pack Star Wars figures with the Dark Trooper build a figure and they had them marked $17 per each 2 pack.

It took me a bit to get the image edited to work on here. I didn't get a shot of Storm Shadow.

I saw those yesterday too.
I was excited at first, and actually planned to buy them, til I saw the price.

$17 X 5 sets = $85 + tax

Even though some of the droids were kind of cool, the main thing I wanted was the Darktrooper, but NO WAY am I paying $91 for a Darktrooper, a couple cool droids, and a handful of rehash figures.

Yep exactly. I would have had a hard time wanting to pay $10 each for them really. All I'd have wanted was the trooper and maybe 2 or 3 of the figures. I don't seem to have any luck selling off the rest of anything when I try that. Well unless I take a drastic hit on selling them. So yeah, I can't see any way to justify $17 a figure pack.

BTW, anybody (such as Justin) that wants to use the image above on their site, feel free to do so. Seeing those in store was the first I heard of them. Other's may actually want to get them no matter what the price is.

Saw these at one of the local Wal Marts last night too. I was hoping they'd also have the 1:18 two packs, but no sign of those yet. So I expect these are trickling out. I saw a mention of these on one of the other sites last week, but can't remember which one.

On another board, someone got ahold of Wal-Mart email saying the 2-packs would be out around October, but last week, they were on Wal-Mart.com, so hopefuly they'll show up sooner.
