So it's like James Bond's jetpack from Thunderball's opening?

(really, a pic might be the best way to demonstrate)

Only pic I know is on HasbroToyShop until I get the figure:

Looking at it closer looks like the guy almost rides it like a motorcycle. What I thought were wings looks like almost helicopter blades.

It is a Heli-pack. The back peg is opposite the rotor. It looks really impractical when it's on him, since the rotor projects straight out from his back, rather than over his head like the Annihilator heli-pack. Plus the missile would fire out towards his feet. It's a neat piece, I'll probably use it as a UAV, but it's completely useless for its intended purpose.

I think their taking the safe route by including launchers. First it's the only action figure with launchers. So if a kid wants a launcher they're covered. On the flip side not to many people would not buy it because has a launcher. Spring loaded weapons doesn't stop any of us from buying the figures.

Sounds like they are on the right track by including a spring activated missile and non-spring attachment. My big issue right now with the launchers is that they are so easy to lose the part. If it is built into the vehicle to complete it's look, I get pissed if I lose it. But if I had a static replacement, I could let the kids fire away and I wouldn't care what happened to them.
