So far, I've saved all my cardbacks from the ROC figures. But, is there a reason to? I don't think the filecards are worth saving, but what about the UPCs? Anyone think Hasbro will do a mail-away promotion or anything?

I was debating keeping them too. I am leaning toward throwing them out. Modern era/25th cards are the ones I want to save, the movie packaging reminds me way too much of Valor vs Venom, as you state the filecards are worthless, and I have enough better cardbacks to hang onto. I think I will toss them today.

If Hasbro was going to do a mail-in, it would have either been launched with the figures or announced at comic-con. By the time they get it set up now, RoC will be out of theatres.

I'm opening the cardboard on the bottom of the packs and slitting the plastic underneath. This allows me to put the figure back in for easy storage and keeping up with the accessories. Plus it staisfies my "one of card" needs. So yeah I'm saving the while thing.

I've been cutting out the File cards, and tossing the rest.

I kept mine. I'm kind of a paperwork nut though. I've got a box dedicted just to things I've cut off of toy packages as well as any inserts, instructions, catalogues, mini comics--basically anything I thought was kinda neat. I think the stuff in that box goes all the way back to the late eighties.

As for my filecards, they're bagged with the figures. Except for the 25th cards of course. I kept those cardbacks intact, just as I will for the ROC toys, because I like the artwork. I do throw out the big packaging though, making certain to clip any filecards.

Guess I took the "Clip and Save for your GiJoe Command Files" thing a little too seriously. ;-)

I like the card art, so I always save all my cardbacks. Gotta agree that the filecards are pretty useless though.

I tossed mine yesterday afternoon. Felt good. I need to go through my 'command files' and toss a lot of older junk too, like those awful Valor/Venom comics, etc.
